“Come on Anna, give me your hand; you’re almost there” said Shaun. “I can’t reach you Shaun” she said “Yes you can just try harder babe” he said Shaun and Anna had been in the basement of one of their college buildings and suddenly a fire erupted. Everybody was running around trying to get out of the building, the fire was blazing and beginning to spread fast. There was panic and horror everywhere, people were crying and stepping on each other to get to safety. Shaun and Anna had found a window out of the building but it was at a height. Shaun being tall climbed out first and gave his hand to pull out his girlfriend Anna. “Wait Anna, do you see that chair?” asked Shaun “Yes” she said and quickly grabbed it, put it under the window and climbed out to safety. “Oh God, what a save phew” she said Pretty soon the fire brigade also arrived and quickly began their rescue operation. Everybody who was in the building had been rescued with a few minor injuries. “Excuse me, May I talk to you for a minute” asked a police officer “Yeah” said Shaun “What were you doing down there?” he asked “Uh, if you didn’t know it would be better” said Shaun “I would still like to know” said the police officer “We were playing a game suddenly we saw fire and started to run” he said “You expect me to believe that son?” “Yeah” he said and smiled “Hmmm” Shaun went away before the officer could speak again. Later that day, Shaun & Anna were in their apartment and going through what had happened. “Shaun, what will happen now, I’m really scared?” said Anna “Don’t worry baby girl, I’m always here for you. I won’t let that scoundrel take you away from me” he assured her. “But you will have to fight him again, what if you lose? He’s going to come fully prepared next time. It was his luck that the fire erupted” she said concerned. “What if it wasn’t?” “What if what wasn’t?” she asked “The fire, what if it was on purpose?” Shaun asked “You think somebody wanted to hurt us on purpose?” “No, just to stop the fight; we know it was on short notice, none of us were prepared” he explained “Oh God, so you think Mano planned this whole thing? I think you might be right sweetheart” she said The police did not find any evidence of who could’ve done it and soon after the matter died down, but Anna’s problems were just beginning. She couldn’t go back home, she couldn’t stay in college, everybody would stare at her and say mean things to her face. Nobody exactly knew what happened down there, all they knew was it was about Anna and Shaun. Anna was really worried about the upcoming fight. When the fight got shut down the next fight had been scheduled after a month which was now just a week away. On the other side, Mano was preparing aggressively for the upcoming event. Since both the parties got a day’s notice last time, he didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. He wanted his wife back at any cost. Shaun was preparing equally as aggressively as Mano was. He was determined to win Anna from the wrong hands of her father; he exactly knew what was at stake. If by mistake he lost he knew everything will be lost; which in his mind was next to impossible. On the day of the massive fight, Shaun and Mano were all geared up; they were ready to battle it out, Anna was outside the ring cheering with all her might, she really wanted the love of her life, Shaun, to win and take her away from all animosities. “Come on Shaun, you can do it” Anna was shouting
In the beginning Shaun had the upper hand, as the fight progressed, Mano started to take on the fight. That got Anna really worried; she could see her whole life ahead of her if Mano won. She had her head buried in her hands and started to cry silently. Suddenly Shaun punched him and punched again, “Baby you’re all mine” shouted Shaun from the ring”. Anna quickly looked up and smiled and said, “I love you baby, I’m all yours”. The final punch was to his face and Mano was down. The referee counted him down and the crowd roared. Shaun had won, Anna couldn’t believe it. The crowd was crazy, picked Shaun up on all his fours. There was a huge celebration throughout the night. “Oh I’m so glad, so thankful to God that you won baby” said the excited Anna as she woke up the next day. “I’m too, thought of losing you was enough for me to try my hardest” said the equally excited Shaun. “Come on…let’s get going. The excitement is going to last for a few days here, we’ll be in bed all day if we don’t get up now” said Anna as they got ready for college. Read the next part here
